About This Course

The Construction Foreman course prepares experienced construction workers to take on supervisory responsibility — managing a team of 10–30 workers on a construction site and ensuring work is completed on time, to quality standards, and safely.

A foreman is the direct link between management and workers on site. This role commands a significant pay increase over trade worker wages and is a natural career step for experienced electricians, carpenters, masons, steel fixers, and other tradespeople. This course is affiliated with CTEVT (Center for Technical Education and Vocational Training), Nepal.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much more does a foreman earn compared to a trade worker? Typically 30–50% more. Gulf foremen earn NPR 90,000–1,50,000/month depending on project type and trade specialization.

Can I become a foreman without trade experience? It is not recommended. Foremen need credibility with their workers, which only comes from having done the trade themselves.
