About This Course
The Mechanical Technician course trains students in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment used in industrial plants, factories, commercial buildings, and infrastructure projects.
Mechanical technicians work across a wide range of industries — maintaining pumps, compressors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, HVAC mechanical components, and production machinery. This is a versatile, well-paid technical trade in high demand in Gulf industrial and oil & gas facilities. This course is affiliated with CTEVT (Center for Technical Education and Vocational Training), Nepal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this similar to Auto Mechanics? There is overlap in mechanical principles, but auto mechanics focuses on vehicle engines and transmissions. This course focuses on industrial and commercial mechanical systems — pumps, compressors, hydraulics, and plant equipment.
What industries hire mechanical technicians? Oil & gas, petrochemicals, power plants, water treatment, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and building services. Gulf industrial sites offer the best wages: NPR 80,000–1,40,000/month.
