About This Course

The Pipe Fitting (Industrial) course trains students in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of large-scale piping systems used in factories, road infrastructure, municipal water mains, gas distribution networks, and industrial plants.

Pipe fitting is a skilled industrial trade — distinct from domestic plumbing. Pipe fitters work on pressurized systems carrying water, gas, steam, oil, and chemicals at an industrial or infrastructure scale. This trade is in high demand across Nepal's expanding infrastructure projects and in Gulf countries' construction and oil & gas industries.

This course is affiliated with CTEVT (Center for Technical Education and Vocational Training), Nepal.

What You Will Learn

  • Read and interpret industrial piping drawings and isometric diagrams
  • Install GI, HDPE, mild steel, and stainless steel pipes
  • Use pipe bending, threading, flanging, and welding techniques
  • Lay underground road and municipal water pipelines
  • Install industrial process piping in factories and plants
  • Connect gas lines, steam lines, and compressed air systems
  • Conduct hydraulic pressure tests and pneumatic leak tests
  • Follow industrial safety and PPE standards

  • Process Piping Technician (chemical, food, pharma industries)
  • Maintenance Engineer — piping (industrial estates)

Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the Plumbing course? Plumbing focuses on domestic water supply and sanitation inside buildings. Pipe fitting covers industrial-scale pressurized systems — factory pipelines, road water mains, gas/steam lines — using heavier materials and requiring blueprint reading and pressure testing skills.

What is the job market like? Very strong. Nepal's infrastructure expansion (roads, irrigation, industrial estates) and Gulf oil & gas projects actively recruit trained pipe fitters. Overseas salaries typically range from NPR 60,000–1,20,000/month.

Is welding knowledge needed? Basic pipe welding is covered in this course. Students who also complete our Welding & Fabrication course have a strong advantage for high-paying industrial roles.

Do you help with job placement? Yes. We work with manpower agencies and construction contractors who regularly hire pipe fitters for both domestic and overseas projects.
