About This Course
The Scaffolder course trains students in the safe erection, inspection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems used to provide safe working platforms for construction workers at height.
Scaffolding is a safety-critical trade — every multi-storey construction, maintenance, or repair project requires scaffolding. Qualified scaffolders are in high demand in Nepal and across Gulf countries where safety regulations strictly require certified scaffolders on site. This course is affiliated with CTEVT (Center for Technical Education and Vocational Training), Nepal.
What You Will Learn
- Erect and dismantle tube-and-coupler scaffolding
- Erect system scaffolding (ring-lock, cup-lock frames)
- Calculate safe working loads and scaffold capacities
- Inspect scaffolding for defects and ensure compliance
- Install safety nets, toe boards, and guardrails
- Work safely at height with harness and PPE
- Read scaffolding plans and drawings
- Understand scaffolding regulations and international safety standards

- Scaffolding components: tubes, couplers, boards, base plates

- Birdcage and slab scaffolding
- Mobile tower scaffolding
- Façade and maintenance scaffolding
Week 7–8 — Advanced & Assessment
- Cup-lock and ring-lock system scaffolding
- Scaffold handover and tagging procedures
- Load calculations and stability checks
- Final practical and safety assessment
