About This Course
The Tailoring & Dress Making course is R.R. Star's most popular program among women — teaching practical sewing and garment-making skills that can immediately generate income, whether working from home, running a shop, or taking up contract orders.
The course covers both traditional Nepali garments (sari blouse, salwar-kameez, daura suruwal) and modern dress styles. Students leave with the skills to take measurements, cut patterns, and stitch professional-quality garments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this only for women? No — men can join too. Tailoring is a trade, and male tailors are common in Nepal's garment industry.
Can I start earning during the course? Yes. From Month 2, many students take small alteration orders from family and neighbours to practice and earn.
What is the investment to start a shop? A basic home-based setup requires a sewing machine (NPR 15,000–25,000) and basic accessories. Many graduates start from home and save for shop rent later.
How long is the short course vs the full course? The 3-month short course covers core garments (salwar-kameez, blouse, basic). The 6-month full course adds formal wear, children's clothing, and business skills.
